In collaboration with Daedalus Agency, PauseRecord Films had the exciting opportunity to make a recent session film with Australian Indie sensations Royel Otis.
Following the unfortunate cancellation of the American leg of their international tour, Royel Otis wanted to give thanks to their fans who had bought tickets, but wouldn’t be able to see the band, with this exclusive film.
CREATIVE
The film was shot in one continuous take in the pub that the band frequented whilst they were recording their album.
We hoped that with this oner, along with the live audio, the audience would be able to get as close to the live experience as possible.
We shot using one of our in house RED cinema camera, along with a vintage Russian lens to give the film the beautiful and gritty texture we thought it deserved.
