We wanted to keep the film focused on Karlie’s mesmerising performance, with a lose narrative thread exploring the moment two lovers first encounter one another and hinting to the potential push and pull of their relationship over time.
We shot the film one of our in house RED cameras and used our custom fitted vintage Canon FD lenses to achieve the stylish and nostaligic look.
A POWERFUL LOVE
American Pop artist Karlie Paloma’s new track Golden Heart is a nostalgic ode to an all consuming kind of love and we wanted to accompany her music with the decadent visuals it deserves.
Shooting on location in Canary Wharf, we used a private cinema and a penthouse bar as the decadent setting for the song to unfold.
We kept the crew relatively small and nimble so that we could maximise the amount of locations and performance takes we could capture.
